Sustainability
We take the ‘Fun Threads of Creativity’ for the reasons:
1) We look at the smaller products, things that we take for granted and throw away and that harm the environment and the wildlife and choke the little fishes our streams, rivers, and seas.

2) Reels of Thread, in researching this to find out how many tonnes of thread are used each year. We could find no direct figures which is quite worrying considering the amount of thread used every second, minute, hour, day, week and month of the year. But the figure for fabrics cotton we use each year is alarming.
We utilise all the thread we use when making the cushions by:
1) Applying complimentary techniques, we use reels of threads that are not always an exact match to sew our love heart shape cushions, but a near match so that no reel of thread is wasted or purchased unnecessarily.
2) Use a variety of simple techniques to finish off edges on frills.
WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN BEING A SOME FRILLS AND NO NONSENSE, NO WASTAGE WEBSITE.
EVEN IF ITS THE LAST 15CMS OF FABRIC WE HAVE LEFT, WE'LL UTILISE IT AND MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF IT.
Packaging
All cushions are pre-packaged in Child Suffocation Warning cellophane bags and sealed to minimise the risk of infection and spread of infection. In light of the environmental impact some suppliers have limited supplies and certain sizes are not available in Child Suffocation Warning Cellophane bags, previously we had to improvise by cutting the cellophane bags to size and ensuring the warning labelling, although not centred is still visible on all our packaging.

We use suppliers that provide cardboard boxes and packaging tape to deliver our products that are, eco-friendly and help reduce environmentally impact on our trees, reducing deforestation and also reducing impact on our local communities, farming and fishing industry.
